Performance cruiser built in 2012Fast and exclusive cruiser/racer from the performance series built by the Danish shipyard X-Yachts. The weight-saving high-tech construction in epoxy resin, the high righting moment thanks to the composite keel with T-shaped lead bulb and high ballast ratio, and the modern, optimised hull design give the XP-38 a confident, agile performance. Modern, sporty and straightforward design. The regatta-clear deck layout and ergonomic cockpit provide a full racing crew with room to work, yet the yacht can still be safely and comfortably handled by a small crew or even single-handed in cruising mode. Very sturdy and torsion-resistant structure with carbon fibre strongback and vacuum-bonded bulkheads.
This XP-38 comes with extensive, performance-oriented equipment and carbon fibre rig. Optimized, T-shaped racing-keel (draft: approx. 2,15 m). Exclusive and generously sized deck fittings from HARKEN and RONSTAN. Numerous additions and replacement investments in the last three years: among others, the carbon fibre mast including standing and running rigging was renewed in 2024, new rudder blade 2023, two new plotters and radar 2022, new lithium service batteries 2024, new anchor windlass 2023 etc. 3-cabin layout with one heads and bright, friendly teak interior with many white lacquered panels and blue Alcantara cushions. The XP-38 is berthed here in Baltic Bay Marina at Kiel Fjord and can be viewed at any time by appointment.
