Neues Modell: Grand Soleil 44 Performance

Auf einer Pressekonferenz heute Nachmittag auf dem Grand Soleil-Stand in Düsseldorf hat Cantiere del Pardo ein neues Modell in seiner Performance-Sparte vorgestellt: Die Grand Soleil 44 Performance ersetzt die Grand Soleil 43 und wird auf dem Yachting Festival Cannes 2020 im September Weltpremiere feiern. Für die Konstruktion des neuen Performance-Cruisers hat die Werft den italienischen Designer Matteo Polli an Bord geholt. Zahlreiche Siege wie unter anderem drei ORC Weltmeister-Titel seit 2015 haben Polli den Spitznamen “Wizard of ORC” eingebracht. Die Grand Soleil 44 Performance wird in zwei Varianten zu haben sein: Als exklusiver, eleganter Performance-Cruiser für schnelle Reisen mit kleiner Crew oder als ORC-optimierte Racing-Version für den Regattaeinsatz.

Gigi Servidati, Chef der Produktentwicklung: “Performance, style, elegance, navigability and safety. It has been a great stimulus to think up this new Grand Soleil 44 Performance, because we wanted to design a boat with all these characteristics. I asked Matteo Polli to realise a hull with good shape stability, which could win regattas but not too extreme in the lines to avoid penalising volumes”.
