Sweden Yachts 42

Sailing yacht built in 2005

The Sweden Yachts 42 is an exclusive, fast and very seaworthy performance-cruiser from the drawing board of legendary Swedish designer Peter Norlin. Elegant lines, an ergonomic deck layout and traditional Scandinavian boatbuilder's quality from the island of Orust in the Swedish Western Archipelago characterise the sailing yachts built by Sweden Yachts in Stenungsund. The Sweden 42 is a fast but also very safe and stiff sailing yacht with a ballast ratio of approx. 40 %. Well dimensioned deck gear by exclusive brand suppliers. 3 cabin layout with a spacious saloon, owner's cabin forward and two heads compartments. Beautifully crafted solid mahogany interior in immaculate finish.

This Sweden Yachts 42 is well equipped for safe long distance cruising. Not only does she have the standard self-tacking jib, but also a genoa and removable Solent forestay with a Genoa IV. Extensive specification incl. wind generator, inverter, bow thruster, electric winches and comprehensive RAYMARINE navigation. The yacht was delivered to the Canary Islands in 2020 and has been sailing in the Baltic Sea until then.
