Sailing yacht built in 1991Stable cruising yacht built by the German quality yard Sirius Yachtwerft in Plön. Thanks to her sturdy construction, the hull design by Heribert Streuer, that was very innovative at that time, and her high ballast ratio of approx. 50 %, the Sirius 31 has rock-solid, well behaved sailing characteristics and excellent course stability especially in strong wind and waves. Deep and well-protected cockpit with high, comfortable coamings and large sprayhood with fixed windscreen and spacious cockpit tent. Solid, traditional interior in satin finished mahogany with plenty of storage space in lockers, shelves and compartments throughout the yacht.
This Sirius 31 was bought two years ago by the current owner and subjected to an extensive refit. Numerous technical components have been replaced, the on-board electrical system completely reinstalled, the teak deck partially refitted or professionally renewed and all canvases changed. In addition instruments were exchanged, a solar panel and an electric toilet installed, diesel heater and water tank replaced and new batteries were purchased. Now the yacht is in excellent condition (both technically and visually) and she is on the market for personal reasons.
