Rustler 24

Daysailer built in 2019

Exclusive and single-handed daysailer built by Rustler Yachts Ltd. in Falmouth/England. The elegant retro design goes back to a 1960s construction by David Boyd. Long overhangs, positive sheer line and a slim hull with low freeboard make the Rustler 24 a gem and turns the head of any enthusiast of traditional sailing yachts. Thanks to her classic underwater hull with long keel and attached rudder blade and the extremely high ballast ratio of approx. 55 %, the daysailer is stiff and good-natured and handles its powerful sail plan with no effort. The high standard of boat building of the English shipyard is striking: The teak deck is laid flawlessly, immaculate high-gloss varnish of coaming, tiller and the curved helm seat and all GRP work is of high quality.

This Rustler 24 was only delivered to her owner in spring of 2019 and has seen very little use. She has the optional NANNI 10 hp inboard diesel which serves well in harbour manoeuvres and as in calm conditions. In addition to the extensive standard specification, the daysailer is equipped with a RAYMARINE tiller pilot, a code-0 with furling system and a full set of canvases (incl. full boat cover). The complete SELDEN rig is painted white and equipped with a HARKEN track with ball bearing cars for the mainsail. Exclusive and generously dimensioned deck fittings by HARKEN. Bottom paint in Coppercoat. The Rustler 24 is moored here in front of our office in Laboe on the Kiel Fjord and can be inspected any time by appointment.
