Cruiser built in 1992Exclusive and very seaworthy cruiser built by the legendary Finnish yard Nautor's Swan in Pietarsaari. Beautiful, sleek hull lines by Germán Frers with long, elegant overhangs and slim transom. The Swan 44 MK1 design which incorporated big panorama windows in the coachhouse sides was ahead of its time. Beautifully finished interior in satin-varnished Burma teak with lots of solid wood in moldings, frames and curves in best Scandinavian boatbuilder's tradition. 2 Cabin layout with two heads compartments.
The Swan 44 MK1 hull number #117, formerly named "Island Fling" had a refit in 2011 (among others the hull was painted and the teak deck was completely relaid). She has been technically updated in recent years: New VOLVO PENTA D2-55 inboard diesel in 2016, new bottom paint including epoxy primer in 2017, partial renewal of yacht electrics in 2017, new instruments and plotter in 2017, new diesel heating in 2018, etc. The yacht is in very good condition both technically and visually and can be handed over ready to sail at short notice.
