NAJAD 34
Centercockpit-cruiser built in 1979The NAJAD 34 was the first model to be launched by the Swedish quality shipyard on the boatbuilder's island of Orust in 1971. It was a top seller and remained in the program until 1980. Very solid, traditional construction (actually certified by LLOYD'S) and excellent seakeeping especially in uncomfortable conditions (ballast ratio: approx. 42 %). Well protected center cockpit with fixed windscreen and high cockpit coamings. The innovative centercockpit concept created an unusual measure of living space and comfort below decks especially in the spacious saloon and the aft cabin. Beautiful Scandinavian traditional mahogany interior with many beautiful details and plenty of solid wood.
This yacht (NAJAD 34 hull number # 228) is a continuously maintained first hand owner's yacht. Always sailed on the Baltic Sea and every year in indoor winter storage. All new RAYMARINE navigation instruments in 2016.
