Demo boat built in 2024A modern and exclusive performance-cruiser built by the Italian yard Cantiere del Pardo. The basis for the Grand Soleil 40’s superior performance is the optimized hull design by “ORC-guru” Matteo Polli, featuring the characteristic elliptical transom and a very flat underwater hull in the aft section, which minimizes the wetted surface and ensures a waterline that remains as symmetrical as possible while heeling. The spacious cockpit, wide side decks, low coachhouse profile, and plenty of unobstructed deck space not only ensure perfect ergonomics in racing or cruising mode but also make the Grand Soleil 40 Performance appear much larger than she actually is. Combined with the aggressive lines and the elegant, forward-tapered window in the coachhouse, this creates a spectacular, modern appearance. Below decks, the interior doesn’t feel sporty at all: An exclusive, contemporary oak finish creates a bright, pleasant atmosphere and offers ample comfort and living space in three nice cabins, a spacious salon, and two heads compartments.
Our demo boat “DIAMOND” built in 2024, is for sale. The Grand Soleil 40 Performance has been used only for a few boat shows and occasional sea trials and is in like-new condition. Full specifications include a retractable bow thruster, sport package (upgraded HARKEN deck gear), aluminum performance-mast, Flexiteek on running decks, swim platform and in cockpit, RAYMARINE navigation electronics, engine upgrade to VOLVO PENTA D2-50, etc. Version with T-shaped ORC racing keel (hollow fin with lead ballast, draft: approx. 2,20 m) and 3-cabin layout with two heads. Exclusive Vantage One sail set by ONE-Sails. The asking price is quoted incl. 19 % German VAT; however, for export or commercial use, the VAT can be deducted (net price: Euro 419.000,00). The Grand Soleil 40 Performance is moored here in Laboe and can be viewed upon appointment.
