Strong, well-equipped centercockpit yacht built by the Swedish quality yard Hallberg-Rassy on the traditional boat builder island of Orust. The Hallberg-Rassy 46 is a very seaworthy, safe bluewater cruiser for long distance sailing with small crew designed by the Argentinian architect Germán Frers (Hallberg-Rassy house designer). The deep center cockpit with doghouse and fixed windscreen provides good protection and wide side decks allow safe movement on board even in harsh conditions. This Hallberg-Rassy 46 has the optional interior in Burma teak. 2 cabin layout with bunk and lockers in passage to forward cabin. Lots of storage space in lockers, compartments, below bunks and sofas etc. Both heads compartments with separate shower. The Hallberg-Rassy 46 was built under supervision of Germanischer Lloyd (GL).

Rigging/Sails

The Hallberg-Rassy 46 is rigged with a deck stepped, toprigged SELDEN aluminum mast with two sets of spreaders. Cutter stay, FURLEX genoa furler, NAVTEC hydraulic backstay adjuster, spinnaker pole (stowed on mast), spinnaker halyard, aluminum tubes for rigging screws. Sails: Mainsail ELVSTRÖM Dacron approx. 50 m² with two reefs, furling genoa I ELVSTRÖM approx. 60 m² with foam in luff, furling genoa II approx. 55 m², working jib, storm jib for cutter stay, spinnaker with spinnaker gear.

Deck

Teak deck on running decks, coachhouse roof, aft deck, swim platform and in cockpit. Electric anchor windlass LOFRANS 1.200 W with remote control at helm, mooring gear: CQR-anchor 34 kg and 60 m chain 10 mm, doghouse, fixed windscreen with central opening window, high gloss varnished chart tables and companionway, electric genoa winches LEWMAR 66.2CEST, mainsheet winches LEWMAR 44.2CST, cockpit enclosure, stern shower (hot/cold), folding cockpit table, swim ladder, spring cleats.

Layout/Interior

2 cabin layout with spacious aft cabin over the entire beam of the yacht (double berth to starboard, single berth to port), owner's heads with separate shower and direct access from aft cabin. Saloon with L-shaped dinette on folding saloon table to port and straight sofa to starboard. U-shaped galley to starboard aft with gimballed gas stove FORCE10 (3 burners and oven), double sink, electric cool box and work top in white CORIAN. Forward facing charttable in passage to the aft cabin on port side. Forward cabin with V-shaped double berth and forward heads compartment to port with separate shower. Beautiful, exclusive interior in Burma-teak.
