Flybridge cruiser built in 2003“Pêche-Promenade” - fishing and cruising-with this quintessentially French concept, Chantiers BÉNÉTEAU, the world’s largest yacht builder, entered the motorboat market over 30 years ago and launched the successful Antares series. For a long time, the flagship of this range was the Antares 10.80. With a distinctly larger and more comfortable interior, powerful twin engines and a flybridge, the Antares 10.80 went well beyond the concept of her smaller sisters, yet her key qualities of seaworthiness, functionality and reliability remained unchanged. Wide, secure running decks with high bulwarks, a spacious, well-protected cockpit and a robust semi-planing hull with excellent seakeeping qualities make the Antares 10.80 a versatile cruising yacht. Adding to this is her distinctive trawler-style silhouette with steep windscreens and sharp bow.
On offer is a comprehensively equipped BÉNÉTEAU Antares 10.80 sold by her second owner. Blue hull and teak decking in cockpit and on swim platform. 2 x VOLVO PENTA KAMD300 (285 hp/210 kW) inboard diesels with approx. 1.100 operating hours. In 2022 the current owner invested substantially in new navigation and entertainment electronics. Two new RAYMARINE chartplotters, radar antenna, AIS transponder and VHF radio were installed, along with a TV and satellite antenna. A practical detail is the modified “Scandinavian” bow sprit (2021) with open pulpit, teak step, anchor roller and bow ladder. Each winter the yacht is stored indoors and professionally serviced on a regular basis.
