As the first yacht of the Swedish yard's "New Generation", the Arcona 400 became the technological and design benchmark for an entire model range and proved to be a best-seller, with more than 160 units built by 2014. The successful combination of a sporty racing yacht and a comfortable cruising yacht for families or small crews was a key factor in this success. Exceptionally sturdy, torsion-resistant construction with laminated structural bulkheads and a galvanised steel strongback designed to absorb the loads from the rig and keel. Beautiful, sturdy and inviting mahogany interior finished in the finest Scandinavian boatbuilding tradition.
A comprehensively and sensibly equipped owner's yacht sold by her second owner. The Arcona 400 has been stored indoors every winter and the engine has been serviced regularly. In recent years, the current owner has invested significantly in her equipment: the mainsail and genoa are from 2026, the standing rigging was replaced in 2024, a completely new saildrive including diaphragm was installed in 2026, and the navigation electronics were replaced in 2024. The Arcona 400 is registered under the British flag by her Swiss owner. EU VAT has been paid and can be documented accordingly. The yacht is lying on the German Baltic coast and can be viewed by prior appointment.
