X-Yachts XC-38

Performance-Cruiser built in 2011

Modern performance-cruiser from the cruising-range of X-Yachts from Denmark. Design: Niels Jeppesen. Very rigid and torsion-free construction with strongback made of galvanised steel to take the loads of keel, mast step and standing rigging. With a ballast of approx. 3.8 t (ballast ratio: approx. 43 %) the XC-38 is a very stiff and safe yacht to sail. Exclusive deck gear by RONSTAN, ANDERSEN and SPINLOCK. The ergonomic layout with free running decks and German mainsheet system guarantees easy handling for small crews. Spacious but well protected cockpit with fixed windscreen, two helm stations, large cockpit table and high, comfortable coaming. High and powerful rig by JOHN-Mast with standing rigging in rod. Her well balanced overall concept won the XC-38 the title "European Yacht of the Year 2011" in the Luxury Cruiser-category.

XC-38 from first owner with white hull and grey lines. 2 cabin layout with L-shaped galley and exclusive Khaya mahogany interior. Young high quality sail wardrobe by UK-Sailmakers. Extensive specification incl. engine upgrade VOLVO PENTA D2-55, inverter, davits and extensive RAYMARINE navigation with two plotters, radar, VHF etc. The XC-38 is lying in Kiel and can be viewed any time upon appointment.
