As traditional and classic as the Tofinou 8.0 m may appear at first glance, her underwater hull and rig are thoroughly modern. Deep, effective appendixes, a slim bow and the gently tapering aft section, combined with a tall rig featuring a high-aspect self-tacking jib and plenty of mainsail area, give the Tofinou 8.0 plenty of performance. The layout of this daysailer is designed for single-handed sailing. All sheets, halyards and controls are lead back to the winch consoles directly in front of the tiller. This and the rig configuration with self-tacking jib make it easy to handle all maneuvers from the helm.
Well-maintained, private Tofinou 8.0 m in the version with T-shaped fixed keel (draught: approx. 1.70 m) offered by her first owner. Hull in anthracite grey with ivory-coloured trim and teak decking throughout. Since delivery, no expense was spared in keeping this daysailer in excellent condition. Indoor storage every winter and continuous care and technical maintenance by by professionals. The Tofinou 8.0 is moored here in Laboe in the Baltic Bay-Marina and can be viewed any time by appointment.
