Tofinou 8.0 m Daysailer

Daysailer built in 2010

Handy, single-handed beautiful daysailer with elegant, stretched lines by Latitude 46 Classic Yachts Construction on the Ile de Ré at the French Atlantic coast. As traditional and classic as the Tofinou 8.0 m appears at first glance, her underwater hull and rig are modern. Deep, effective appendages, a slim foreship and the shallow underwater hull as well as a high rig with a high aspect self-tacking jib and plenty of surface area in the mainsail give the Tofinou 8.0 sporty sailing characteristics. The layout of the daysailer is designed for single-handed sailing. The self-tacking jib and the routing of all sheets and halyards to the winch platforms directly in front of the tiller make it possible to perform all manoeuvres from the helm.

Second-hand Tofinou 8.0 m daysailer in the version with electro-hydraulic swing keel (draught: approx. 0.90 - 1.90 m), espresso-brown hull with yellow decor and teak deck all over. Extensive sail wardrobe from X-Voiles incl. gennaker and code-0 (both little used). A braked tandem trailer belongs to the yacht.
