Sandvik 920 Thermo
Semi-displacment hull built in 1990Seaworthy, practical and easy-to-handle cruiser built by the Norwegian yard Sandviks Båtbyggeri. The Sandvik 920 Thermo earned a solid reputation not only as a reliable cruising motor yacht, but also as a rugged workboat and a popular choice among hobby anglers, thanks to her sturdy construction and dependable engineering. The uninterrupted 360° visibility from the wheelhouse and the additional outside helm station in the cockpit make her an ideal vessel for a small crew or even single-handed operation. Her semi-displacement hull with shaft drive ensures excellent course stability at lower speeds, yet with the largest available engine option – a VOLVO PENTA 230 hp diesel – she reaches a top speed of 16 knots. A solid steel grounding guard protects both propeller and rudder, making the Sandvik 920 Thermo especially suitable for shallow coastal waters and tidal cruising grounds.
For sale is a well-equipped owner’s yacht built in 1990. Over the past several years, the current owner has invested extensively in her equipment: stern thruster, GARMIN navigation electronics, cockpit enclosure, teak decking, an electric anchor windlass, and the complete bow rail were all added or replaced since 2017. The VOLVO PENTA 230 hp diesel was installed in 2000. All interior upholstery and the LED interior lighting are also recent. The Sandvik 920 Thermo is located in Laboe on the Kiel Fjord and can be inspected by appointment at any time.
