Nordship 40 DS

The Nordship 40 DS is rigged with a deck stepped, 9/10 fractional SELDEN furling mast with two sets of aft swept spreaders. Spinnaker pole (stowed on mast), manual backstay adjuster, FURLEX headsail furler. Sails: Furling mainsail ELVSTRÖM approx. 47 m² with full length vertical battens, self-tacking jib ELVSTRÖM approx. 31 m², gennaker ELVSTRÖM incl. gennaker gear and snuffer.

Bright and cosy decksaloon with U-shaped dinette around saloon table to port and chart table with navigator seat to starboard. Open galley to starboard with gas stove (3 burners and oven), double sink and electric refrigerator. Spacious, luxurious owner's cabin aft over the entire beam of the yacht with central queensize double berth and plenty of storage space in lockers and drawers and owner's heads with separate shower to port. The two single settees in the passage to the aft cabin can be converted into an additional sea berth. Forward cabin with V-shaped double berth and guest bathroom to port. Large and comfortable quarter berth below decksaloon floor. Beautiful mahogany interior in best Scandinavian boatbuilder's tradition.

Bowthruster MAXPOWER with separate AGM battery 12 V/50 Ah, 230 V shore power connection with battery charger 12 V/40 A and 230 V sockets in interior, 4 x service battery 12 V/75 Ah, starter battery 12 V/75 Ah, water heater 40 l (heated via engine and 230 V heating element), diesel heating EBERSPÄCHER D5L, electric wiper for starboard windscreen, 2 x stainless steel water tank 200 l, stainless steel holding tank 70 l with deck connection and sea-discharge.
