The Grand Soleil 38 has a beautiful line with low freeboard, a sleek coachhouse profile and classic overhangs. Bellied IOR-hull with beautiful negative yacht stern. Sturdy construction with strongback to absorb the loads of rig and keel, bolted hull-deck-joint and wide flange for lead keel connection. The Grand Soleil 38 can handle strong wind and waves and offeres very good performance especially upwind. Comfortable and functional teak interior (designed by Patrick Roseo) with plenty of solid wood in frames and profiles. Ample storage space throughout the boat in lockers, drawers and compartments.
The Grand Soleil 38 build number #D24 offered here has only had German owners and was sailed exclusively in Northern Europe. Well equipped yacht with powerful VOLVO PENTA 43 hp engine, folding swim platform, teak deck, electric anchor windlass etc. The Grand Soleil 38 has the optional 3 cabin layout with owner's cabin forward, double berth in port aft cabin and single berth starboard aft. The current owner had the teak deck refitted at a Danish shipyard during the 2023/2024 winter storage. The yacht including all inventory is on offer because her owner is retiring from sailing.
