Etap 30i
Cruiser built in 1996In the mid-1990s, Belgian builder Etap Yachting teamed up with French naval architects Mortain & Mavrikios to launch the Etap 30i - a remarkably successful cruiser with a production run of 280 units between 1995 and 2005. Despite her compact dimensions, the Etap 30i offers an exceptional amount of space, clever single-handed deck layout, and impressive sailing performance, making her a popular choice across Europe and beyond. Designed with safety in mind, the Etap 30i features a double-skinned, foam-core hull construction, rendering the boat virtually unsinkable - an ideal feature for families and those new to cruising. The bright and inviting saloon, generous aft cabin, open-plan forepeak double berth, and unusually large heads compartment offer exceptional comfort and livability for a 30-footer. Storage is also ample, with large cockpit lockers, a dedicated oilskin locker accessible from the heads, and numerous lockers and compartments throughout the interior.
The Etap 30i offered here is a private, well-maintained and comprehensively equipped owner's yacht. Version with classic tiller steering and the medium draft keel, drawing approximately 1,42 m with around 1.200 kg of ballast. In 2020, the current owner undertook a major technical and cosmetic refit: RAYMARINE navigation electronics were replaced, the rudder bearing renewed, standing rigging changed, and both engine and saildrive professionally refitted. The yacht is lying on the Kiel Fjord and is available for viewing by appointment.
