Contest 42CS

Decksaloon yacht built in 2017

Exclusive, seaworthy and fast decksaloon-cruiser built by the traditional Dutch shipyard Conyplex B.V./Contest Yachts. Hull and deck of Contest yachts are built using the vacuum infusion process, which guarantees an extremely stable laminate. Composite bulkheads, stringers and even parts of the furniture are laminated to hull and deck, guaranteeing a rigid, torsion-free structure. Modern, elegant design by Georg Nissen with wraparound, decksaloon window and uncluttered, unobstructed decks. Spacious aft cockpit with two helm stations and free access to the wide, folding swim platform. Ample light below decks through large deck saloon windows and numerous hatches, portholes and hull windows. The combination of modern, elegant design and exclusive, traditional boatbuilding helped the Contest 42CS win the title "European Yacht of the Year 2014".

Very young, well-maintained and extensively equipped owner's yacht. Contest 42CS in 2 cabin layout with forward owner's cabin and high-quality, well finished teak joinery (interior design by Wetzels Brown Partners/Amsterdam). Hull painted in Alexseal "Majestic Blue" with silver lines and teak deck all over. Very comprehensive specification including electric furling systems for mainsail and genoa, diesel generator, full BROOKS & GATEHOUSE navigation, retractable bow thruster, electric winches etc. The perfect, fast blue water cruiser for long voyages with a small crew.
