Centercockpit-cruiser built in 1998Exclusive and seaworthy cruiser built by Conyplex B.V./Contest Yachts in Medemblik, the Netherlands. Very solid construction with laminated bulkheads, laminated stringers and hull/deck connection. Contest sailing yachts are known for their reliability and stiff, monolithic structure and can be found in the remotest cruising areas around the world. Traditional bottom with long skeg, shaft drive and solid laminated shaft bracket. Deep, well protected cockpit with fixed windscreen, sprayhood and high, comfortable coaming. Beautiful and high quality interior in satin varnished Burma teak with lots of solid wood in frames, profiles and mouldings. Contest 37 in 2 cabin layout with two heads compartments and owner's cabin with wide double berth aft. Plenty of storage in lockers, drawers and compartments throughout the yacht.
Exceptionally pretty vessel with dark blue painted hull, gold decoration and white water line. Elegant appearance with flat coachhouse profile, flush deck forward of the mast and teak deck all over. Well-maintained and hardly used vessel offered by her second owner. Indoor winter storage every year. Especially the teak deck is in a surprisingly good condition considering the year of construction. The Contest 37 is stored here in Laboe and can be inspected at any time by appointment.
