Esse 850
One design built in 2018Fast and sleek onedesign racer built by Schuchter Sportboot AG in Switzerland. The successful package of no-frills, functional design, spectacular performance and easy handling thanks to the central hoisting point, T-shaped lifting keel and narrow beam earned her the title "European Yacht of the Year 2005". Exclusive, lightweight high-tech construction, quality deck fittings and the well thought-out ergonomics of cockpit and deck make sailing on the Esse 850 a fantastic pleasure. The yacht is very versatile: She does the job both with a full crew racing around the cans and as a daysailer in single-handed mode.
This Esse 850 is a private boat offered by her first owner. The boat has had extremely little use, has sailed on fresh water only, has not taken part in any regattas, is in very good condition and ready to race. High-quality sail wardrobe by NORTH-Sails, teak deck in cockpit and customised Esse 850 tandem trailer built by Kufer. The boat is in indoor winter storage here in Laboe on the Kiel Bay and can be viewed any time by appointment. The cover picture is the brochure photo of a sister ship.
