Performance cruiser built in 2015Fast and versatile performance cruiser from the traditional German brand Dehler. The renowned and highly successful racing yacht designer judel/vrolijk & co. endowed the Dehler 46 with a modern hull, efficient appendages and a powerful sail plan. In addition to the yard’s standard specification, numerous options were available to adapt the yacht to the intended programme and the sporting ambitions of her owner. Strong, light and torsion-resistant construction built using vacuum infusion with a carbon fibre strongback (“Dehler Carbon Cage”) to absorb loads of keel and rig. As the yard’s flagship, the Dehler 46 represented the technological and design spearhead of the model range, something that is also reflected in her elegant, dynamic styling: Straight hull lines, an aggressive forward-tapering window band in the coachroof and a vertical stem and transom give the yacht a striking appearance. The functional, uncluttered deck layout allows both efficient handling by a full racing crew and safe, relaxed cruising for a couple.
This Dehler 46 in Competition-version is now offered for sale by her first owner. The already very sporty yacht has been further accelerated with a Pauger carbon fibre rig with standing rigging in rod (approx. one metre taller than the standard aluminium mast), a T-shaped racing-keel with iron fin and lead bulb (draught: approx. 2,50 m, ballast approx. 3.150 kg), an extended rudder blade with Competition-profile and an exclusive sail wardrobe by Elvstrøm. Extensive specification including retractable Side-Power bow thruster (new 2021), two lithium service batteries (new 2021), inverter 2 kW (new 2021), electric halyard winch, folding swim platform, teak deck on running decks, coachroof and in cockpit, stainless steel mooring gear etc. The hull of this Dehler 46 Competition was wrapped in Anthracite Metallic in 2021. The yacht is moored in the South of France, has received continuous technical maintenance and care and can be viewed by prior appointment.
