Centercockpit-cruiser built in 2003Seaworthy, timeless and well maintained cruiser built by Najadvarvet AB on the boatbuilder's island of Orust in the wetsern Swedish archipellago. Deep, well protected center cockpit with high coamings and fixed windscreen with lateral handrails. Wide running decks with raised coaming allow safe movement on deck. Despite the NAJAD 400's modern judel/vrolijk & co. design, she comes with the traditional, reliable underwater body with deep bilge, skeg in front of the rudder blade and shaft drive. Her satin varnished mahogany interior is a beautiful testament of the exquisite Scandinavian boatbuilder's tradition. 2-cabin layout with owner's cabin aft across the entire beam of the yacht and large longitudinal galley with ample storage space in passage to aft cabin to port.
Special layout features of this NAJAD 400 are the central island berth in the owner's cabin and the separate shower cabin forward to port. The technically adept owner has equipped the yacht for long journeys: Watermaker, wind generator, removable cutter stay, upgraded battery bank and davits with an almost new dinghy including outboard engine are on board. The bottom is treated with Coppercoat and the paint was renewed in 2021. The yacht has been in her first ownership since her launch in 2004, was sailed exclusively in Northern Europe until 2018 and was kept in indoor storage every winter until then. The NAJAD 400 is now being offered for personal reasons and will be available in spring 2025. The berth in southern Spain is booked until November 2025 and can be taken over by the buyer.
